Cabling Technicians

General Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Must be flexible to work some nights and weekends
• Ability to self supervise work in virtual capacity
• Detailed-orientated to complete required paperwork and submit information to management on a daily basis.
• Requires ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Specific Requirements:

• Cable tester is required on all jobs.
• Basic cabling tools needed (crimper, toner, fishtape, tester, zip ties, etc).
• Tech should be able to provide Cat5 cable, RJ45 ends and standard RJ45 panduit jacks if requested by customer. Customer will reimburse for materials as notated in each work order.
• Tech needs to have prior experience in reterminating and/or running cable.
• Techs should have access to a ladder they can bring onsite if and when needed.
• Tech should be aware of local regulations concerning cabling in their area.
