Network Technician

General Requirements:

Excellent customer service and communications skills.
Must be flexible to work some nights and weekends.
Ability to self supervise work in virtual capacity.
Detailed-orientated to complete required paperwork and submit information to management on a daily basis.
Requires ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Specific Requirements:

Basic tool kit, cabling tools, patch cables, cabling tools, etc.
Tech should be familiar with software, drivers, networking, etc.
Tech should have basic knowledge of how to install modems, routers and switches and troubleshoot issues as needed. Typically a tech that is installing modems or routers or switches should also have cabling knowledge as many times they go hand in hand. If there is an issue with one of those items it could very well be due to cabling issue and they would need to be able to test cables.
